Open Call for Artists | Straight Circle India
Curated Open Call - The First Circle
Straight Circle India is organising its inaugural online gallery exhibit - The First Circle, a gathering of works by neurodiverse, disabled, and under-represented artists.
Conceived as an attempt towards collective possibility/visibility, The First Circle invites original works from artists whose perspectives and creative practices have often remained under-represented within contemporary art spaces. Selected works will be exhibited through an online exhibition hosted on the Straight Circle India website and featured in a printed and digital publication as a lasting archive of the exhibition.
The submission deadline for artworks is 30 June 2026, 9:00 PM IST. Submission requirements and details follow.
Submission Details:
Artists who identify as neurodivergent and/or disabled are welcome to submit their work. Organisations, collectives, and parents working with qualifying artists may also apply on an artist's behalf.
