Abhishek Sanyal

Abhishek Sanyal (b. 1999) is an artist whose creative practice is informed by a vivid imagination and a deep engagement with the world around him. Working through painting alongside interests in drawing, craft, drama, acting, and choral singing, he approaches creativity as an expansive and expressive part of everyday life. An autistic artist, Abhishek created the featured painting at the age of eighteen.

Accompanying the work featured in The First Circle, he wrote: "As wide as the horizon, are my impossible dreams and will's resolve to steer my boat to actualization."
